The school was last inspected by Ofsted in May 2026. The new Ofsted framework focuses on giving a more rounded view of a school’s quality, looking beyond outcomes to areas such as curriculum, teaching, inclusion, leadership, and pupil wellbeing. It aims to provide clearer, more meaningful evaluations that recognise strengths and identify areas for improvement.

The school was inspected under SIAMs – The Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools in March 2026 and received a J1 grade. This is the highest outcome a school can receive under the September 2023 framework. It shows that our school is successfully living up to its foundation as a Church school and is enabling both pupils and adults to flourish!
